SETTING
The setting takes place at three different places. They are Uncle Hoyt's house, Bronte and Tennyson's house and their high school.

CONFLICT
Brewster likes the fact that he has a special power that helps people although does not like that he cannot become close to people.

PLOT
Brewster stays to himself and doesn't have very many friends until he meets Bronte. She introduces him to many people and he starts to become popular and that's where some of his problems start. Brewster and Cody are being raised by Uncle Hoyt, he is not very nice to them and adds to Brewster's problems.

MOOD
The mood is dark because of the pain Brewster has to take, but also is inspiring that he can help people.

FAVORITE PART
When Tennyson sticks up for Brewster when he is being made fun of by a classmate.

MY OPINION OF THE BOOK
I would rate this book an 8/10 because it has a good story, although there was a lot of talking to themselves.
My recommendation is this is a good book for an advanced reader that enjoys a story that has a plot twist.

CONNECTION TO REAL LIFE
The theme of this book is someone that enjoys helping people, but gets hurts in return.

VOICE
One of my favorite passages in the book is
"I'll never understand how a man can live his life with his finger on a self-destruct button,
Holding it there day after day,
Blinded by an obsession to press it
But lacking the conviction to do even that. This was my uncle Hoyt before today, but today, the auto-destruct sequence is engaged, and counting down".
