PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Main idea:
There was a kid called Steven who was trying to "survive" the problems of being in freshman year, but there were a few more problems that he would never expect to happen.
Summary:
The fist high school year has started and Steven was so scared because he didn't feel ready for it.
Steven was bothered for all the activities he was in, besides he was staring feeling even more in love with his neighbor.
He didn't expect all the future problems.
And obviously, this just could get worse (at least for him).
Problem after problem this doesn't seem to stop soon.
Would be Steven able to survive?
CHARACTERS
- Steven: is a kind of introvert who don't like to be the center of attention at all and who is a really smart guy, plus he is very talented with drums.
- Jeffrey: is Steven's younger brother who, unlikely of Steven, is a child who is not afraid of asking any kind of question to anyone and he really wants everyone to be his friend.
- Annette: is Steven's best friend, a girl who is super focused on school but too confident with Steven, she is smart, kind and a good idea planer.
- Rene: she is Steven's not too secret crush who is smart, and over polite with Steven's family since she knows their problem.
- Mom: she is an overprotective mother who centers the most of her attention on Jeffry but she is also nice with Steven.
- Dad: he is a really distant father, he can play with his kids and do a good job holding on their home but he can't control the situation when a family member is having a real problem.

- The first event is when Steven gets involved in a lot of work in and out school.
- The second event is when their parents discover Jeffrey's critical condition.
- The third event is when Jeffrey and mom have to travel to Philadelphia weekly.

- The fifth event is when he finally reveals his brother's problem to everybody and the things are getting better in some way.
- This event is when because of Annette and Rene the school organizes a benefit concert to help Steven's family.
THEME
THE THEME IS THAT YOU NEVER HAVE TO BOTHER YOURSELF WITH THE PROBLEMS YOU CAN'T FIX, INSTEAD, THINK ABOUT THE THINGS YOU CAN CHANGE.
QUOTE:
"Never bother yourself thinking of the things you can't change and start thinking of the things you can"
-the school's psychiatrist.
