Alpine Skiing
From the top of a snowy hill or mountain, the skier must ski down the hill or mountain in a race against other skiers, in different forms of alpine skiing, there are marked flags that must be followed and tagged by the skier.

Rules of Alpine Skiing
You need to ski down a hill and it can either be a race down straight or in slalom, you need to hit every flag marker in order to win.

Origins of Alpine Skiing
It is believed that the Scandinavians used skis to travel and hunt over snow covered terrain as far back as 4,000 years.

Common Alpine Skiing Countries
The most popular countries with Alpine Skiing are Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland and other Nordic Countries
