STAGES OF MITOSIS
BY DANIEL BETETA, SAIRA HAQUE, DAKOTA MARTIN

INTERPHASE
Considered as the resting phase for the
Cell.
Has three phases.
3.
PROPHASE
Each chromosome is composed of two
Longitudinal halves.
Divides the chromosomes into two arms.
4.
METAPHASE
Spindle fibers enter the nuclear region,
Extend from the centrioles.
Moves the chromosomes near the middle.
5.
ANAPHASE
The centromere divides and the two
Chromatids separate from each other.
Forming two identical daughter cells.
6.
TELOPHASE
The chromosomes separate from the cell.
This phase ends mitosis.
7.
CYTOKINESIS
Begins the formation of two separate
Cells.
The cells now develop nuclei.
