Part of me thinks I should give you a critique of Haikudeck in Haikudeck to give you a taste of my product-sense, but I decided to keep the focus on me (since that was the requested topic). I can give more input if you call me!
This is actually an almond and pear tart, not a pie. I have other pictures of pies I've made, but this one is prettier. I promise to bring homemade pies to work if I get hired. Promise!

First real job out of college. I learned mostly what NOT to do as a manager and a business. But, this company did give me the opportunity to discover Product Management, which I fell in love with as a profession.
I wanted to understand how and why business worked the way it did, so I could stop asking my managers why I was doing what I was doing (they never had any good answers). It was also a deliberate choice to learn how to be a good manager and bring the best out of people.
(I also learned that "edumacated" is spelled "educated.")
I had a FANTASTIC time at SuccessFactors. Worked on products I agreed with (philosophically) and met some of the smartest and most collaborative people ever. So. Much. Fun.
I needed a break from the grueling startup pace... So I joined another startup! This time in a Product Marketing role, strengthening my strategic analysis skills, expanding my experience in product definition and positioning, and finding my voice in writing.
