Louis Zamperini is a dynamic character.

These are reasons why

• He starts out as a troubled kid and at the end he isn'troubled
• In the beginning of the book he steals just for stealing
• He acts more seriously and strongly than in the beginning 
• A little way through he stops stealing and decides to run competitively

Throughout the book Zamperini changes dramatically
