A is for attention
The people in this society do not pay attention to what is happening around them. People are dying/committing suicide and nobody cares because it's normal. They don't pay attention to the poor education they receive, the war going on, and their own thoughts. If they feel like they are being pulled in opposite directions they immediately ignore it.

B is for books
The people in this society aren't allowed to own books because books promote thinking. In this society if anyone gets caught owning books they will burn the books and that person will be taken care of. The people of this society wanted books to go away due to the difference of views within society.

C is for Clarisse.
Clarisse was a very outgoing and curious girl. She was curious about everything and never ceased to learn more about the society and the history of everything. Clarissa was different and unlike many people In the society she was able to create an idea. She was often referenced by with the color of white because she was pure.

D is for depression
The people in this society are very depressed. People are often trying to commit suicide and they would rather die than live in the society they are in. The games that the teens in the society do are very dangerous and shows that they don't care whether they die or not.

E is for education
The education in this society is not very good. In order to prevent ideas ornate parents teach their kids anything they shouldn't the government makes kids go to school at a very young age. They dot allow asking questions because if someone asks a question they are considered weird. The people in the schooling system all think alike and there really isn't any individuality within students.

F is for fire
The firemen in this society sprayed kerosene out of the hoses rather than water. They burned books because books promoted thinking and individuality. If people ran around with their own thoughts then they might do something stupid.

G is for grenade
There is a war inside of guy Montag. He is at a point in his life that he could either make a change within the system or he could remain the same. The grenade inside if his is slowly ticking until a point comes where it is going to explode and all his emotions and thoughts are gong to explode and he will have to make a decision.

H is for helpless
The people in this society are helpless. They have no ideas of their own and they can't be saved. They can't even see when somebody else is struggling. They have their own problems and that's all they care about. Sometimes they would rather end their lives than face reality. They are so lonely and sad that they don't see what's happening to one another.
