What Does Wind have to do with windmills

• Wind is What spins the mill to make energy
• Wind is the main source for windmills

WHERE CAN WE MAINLY FIND WINDMILLS

• You can mostly find windmills at farms or at large open field
• You can mainly find at farm because at first farmers used them to pump water
• Now farmers are using them to make electricity and sell energy to power companies

HOW WINDMILLS WORK

• Windmills work by getting wind energy and turning it to electric energy
• They do this because wind passes over the blades causing the rotor to turn
• This drives a generator, turning wind energy to electrical energy

WHAT DO WINDMILLS DO

• If you haven't been paying attention windmills creat electric energy
• They take wind energy to do so
• Some windmills are used to pump water
