TO SMOOTHLY INCREASE THE VOLUME OF A PARTICULAR PHRASE OR PASSAGE.

DECRESCENDO

TO SMOOTHLY DECRESE THE VOLUME OF A PARTICULAR PHRASE OR PASSAGE

Treble Clef
A symbol located at the beginning of a staff to indicate the upper pitches. It is also called the "G clef" because the symbol curves around the second line of the staff.

Bass Clef
A symbol located at the beginning of a staff to indicate the lower pitches. is also called the "F clef" because the symbol curves around the fourth line of the staff.
