What is Flow?

  • Citation/Reference Manager
  • Cloud-Based
  • Access from anywhere!
ProQuest Flow (also known as RefWorks Flow) is a citiation manager based in the cloud, so you can access your research from a plethora of devices, be they computers, smartphones, or tablets. All you need is a network connection!

ProQuest Flow is the next generation iteration of RefWorks and you can import all of your RefWorks folders and references into your new ProQuest Flow account in a snap.

Save to Flow Bookmark Tutorial

One of the most user-friendly tools ProQuest Flow features is the "Save to Flow" button that you can easily install on your toolbar. With this link, you can automatically import references into your Flow library, edit the entry, and even save PDFs and websites to be annotated later on!

Set Up Save to Flow

  • Log in.
  • Click on Options Menu.
  • Select Set up Flow Tools.
  • Drag and Drop!
Setting up the Save to Flow button takes four simple steps!

Step One: Log into your Flow account at http://flow.proquest.com.
Step Two: Click on the Options menu (three lines with a downward arrow) in the Flow toolbar.
Step Three: Click the Set up Flow Tools link.
Step Four: Drag and drop the Save to Flow button into your bookmarks bar.

Voila, you're done!
