AS A CHILD

  • Little is known of Tituba's background.
  • Tituba was born in a small village in South America.
  • As a child she was captured and taken to the Caribbean
  • In the Caribbean she was sold as a slave to Samuel Parris

WHEN SHE MOVED TO BOSTON

  • In 1680, Tituba moved to Boston.
  • Tituba married a West slave named John in 1689
  • John wanted it become a preacher.

STRUGGLES BETWEEN THE SALEM VILLIAGE

  • Salem was divided into two parts.
  • They were the Salem Village and Salem Town
  • Many farmers resided in the Salem village& we're bent I separating

  • Name: Tituba
  • Town/Village: Salem Village
  • Year: 1692

  • She was Reverend Parris's slave

  • Tituba and many others were accused of being witch's
  • They will be sentenced to be hanged if guilty

  • She was found guilty because Abigail accused of seeing her with the devil
