--Read Naturally began in 1991 and is a structured intervention program that combines teacher modeling, repeated reading, and progress monitoring to improve students’ reading proficiency
-- The programs’ strategy of teacher modeling, repeated reading, and progress monitoring is based on the five essential components of reading phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension identified by the National Reading Panel.
