INDUSTRIAL DEMOGRAPHICS

Where there were both high birth and mortality rates before the industrial revolution, after the industrial revolution, the mortality rates were lower due to new medical advances such as the invention of the vaccination, better diets, and improved sanitation.

Over time, the birth and mortality rates went decreased which led to a steady demographic.

During the industrial revolution the cost of having a child was high, therefore the was a strong desire for contraception and it developed quickly.
