Basically the idea of a hanging garden is "green in the air", which is quite similar to a hanging pot of plants, so this is what we are going to do - Hanging pot plants on the bridge.

Just kidding, of course, we hope to do something more than that. We'll hang it in a Pandasian way with "touches".

Let's see, shall we?

What we intend to do is to develop from the plan of renovating the connection between Richmond and Delta, which is previously George - Massey Tunnel to a bridge.

This bridge will have two levels, as seen here on the slide but with better design, of course.
We will add green features into it

The 1st level is for current traffic, and instead of this blue train, we will have a hanging garden above it.

This is part of what we are aiming for the design of the garden.

Yet

Such greenery does not just serve as decorative purposes. The energy generated by the plant's photosynthesis process will be used to run the lights of the bridge by night time.

This 3rd touch give our Hanging Garden a sustainable edge to its predecessor.
