  • Soft bodies
  • Thick muscular foot
  • They take in oxygen through gills or lungs
  • Some have shells

  • Very simple animals
  • Many pores in their bodies
  • Specialized cells
  • Get food and eliminate waste through this flow of water
  • Water moves in a central cavity and out through opening at the top

ARTHROPODS

  • Jointed legs
  • Segmented bodies
  • Some have wings
  • Breathe through gills or air tubes
  • Have exoskeletons=hard outer covering

SEGMENTED WORMS

  • Have long tube like bodies that are divided into segments
  • Simplest organisms with a nervous system and blood vessels
  • Long digestive tube runs through inner body
  • Take in oxygen frim

  • Have spines
  • Have tube feet that take in oxygen from water
  • Ex: sea stars, brittle stars, sea cucumbers
