• Nuclear energy is made from atoms, water, and an ore called uranium.

FUNCTION

• Nuclear energy is made by atoms.
• When the atoms get broken, they create heat energy.
• An ore called uranium is placed in a tube called a fuel rod.
• The fuel rod is placed in water, near the atoms.
• When the atoms get broken, they heat the fuel rod, creating steam which turns a turbine, creating energy.

CAUSATION

• The problem with nuclear energy is it creates nuclear waste.
• Nuclear waste is a liquid that kills plants and animals.
• If you touch it, you become radioactive.
• You now will now not have long to live.

RESPONSIBILITY

• The way we can take action is to use different sources of energy.
• For example; solar energy, wind energy, and hydroelectric energy.
• TAKE ACTION!!!
