1. What is a migrant worker?

Term applied in the U.S. to laborers who travel from place to place harvesting crops that must be picked as soon as they ripen.

2. WHAT IS A TENANT FARMER?

Typically paid a loudwaer for the right to crops on a certain piece of property. Also tenant farmers, in addition to having some cash to pay rent, also generally awned some livestock and tools needed for successfully farming.

3. Are there migrant workers or tenant farmers today? Describe the types of people they are and what kinds of lives they lead.

Yes, there are still some here. They live hard life's and have difficult livening work environment

4. DURING THE 1930'S, WHY DID WORKERS WANT TO COME TO CALIFORNIA?

To have a better life and get a better job to support there family

5. WHAT WERE THE LIVING CONDITIONS OF MIGRANT WORKERS IN CALIFORNIA?

They all lived in the same place and didn't always get enough food.

6. HOW WERE MIGRANT WORKERS AFFECTED BY THE GREAT DEPRESSION?
