ADVERBS

An adverb can give one of these three types of information about a verb- how, where, and when.

* Adverbs can be formed by adding -ly to an adjective.

Examples of Adverbs:
diligently, dimly, doubtfully, dreamily, easily, elegantly, energetically, enormously, enthusiastically, equally

• Joe quickly threw the football.
• Claire frantically searched for her shoes.
• Nobody ever wanted to sit by the bathrooms.
• He is standing over there talking to the teacher.
• Last time I saw Summer, she was over here.

• We often go to the store on Friday.
• I always come last in the alphabet .
