Jewish ritual feast that marks the beginning of the Passover
Performed by a community or family retelling the freedom of the Isrealites
Customs include drinking cups of wine, eating matza,and partaking symbolic foods
eat lamb symbolic of the sacrifices of umblemished lambs
Retelling the exodus to children is the focus of Seder, strengthening their faith

Aghori, a Hindu sect, believed God exist in everything;everything is sacred
must have no fear or disgust for anything, nothing is unholy
Covered themselves with ashes of the dead, used skulls for bowls(Kapala)
Ate dead animal and human flesh , and drank human blood and urine
They embraced death and meditated on corpses

BELIEFS
They believed eating the dead was a direct pathway to god
Eating human flesh developed a transcendence of lower self and realization of the greater
Drank wine with their rituals
Intoxication helped them unconnected with the world and lead them to devotion
Believed eating human flesh had spiritual and physical benefits,such as preventing aging

our church teaches that we are truly eating the body and blood of Christ
