PRESENTATION OUTLINE
PROCEDURE-
1st- Pray
2nd- lets all read the passage one by one
3rd-divide youth into groups of 4
-what are the important words that are found on the passage.
group 1: 1-7, group 2: 8-11, group 3:12-13, group 4: 14-23
*I will give you 10 minutes to discuss*
-after that, I'm going to write the key words on the board...
Jahziel: The words that we found while we were studying the book of Romans on chapter 6 are.. Baptism, Death, Live, and Grace.
BAPTISM- Bakit tayo nilulubog kapag binabautismuhan? Kasi sinisimbolo nito nna namatay na tayo sa kasalanan at ang pag ahon naman ay nag sisimbolo na tayo ay nabuhay muli para kay Cristo.
DEATH- refers to physical Death of Christ. It also refers to the death of old-self. It means that through death, we are no longer under the power of sin and Satan. The price of the sin has been fully paid for in Christ. Just like it says in the book of Philippians, "forgetting what is behind, and pushing forward on what is ahead."
LIVE- Jesus' physical resurrection is symbolic of our new life in Him. Our sin and death is gone. the power to live of victory is given by Jesus Christ. Our sins and problems can never defeat us because we know that God is always with us.
GRACE- should not be used as an excuse to sin. The grace is only given who truly repents. If you sin again because you know that God will forgive you, then the Grace will not be given. Gods great love and grace should encourage us onto serving him with our whole hearts. As we remember, His loving sacrifice for us, we should be willing to thankfully give ourselves completely to our Lord, Jesus Christ.
QUESTION FOR SHARING: think of one sin you really struggle with. Write out some steps you should take to deal with the sin and kill it in your life. Im giving you 5 minutes.
SHARING TIME- *does anyone want to share?*its okay if you guys dont want to tell us what your sins are. but if you want, you can tell us what will you do on how to deal with your sin.
*you guys need to rip the paper so you wont do the sin that you did, again.*
