NICHOLAS BIDDLE

• Controlled all the funds
• Set policies that controlled the nation's $ supply
• Ran the bank very efficiently

JACKSON

• Disliked the Bank
• Believed that it favored the wealthy over the middle class
• Said it was the cause of "inflation and perceived evils"
• Didn't have problems with any other central bank
• He thought that the 2nd Bank held too much power

• He claimed that the bank was unconstitutional
• Took that claim to the Supreme Court, but they ruled against him
