They show a great respect for the Buddha's teachings

New life in the rebirth cycle is dictated by the karma in a past life

Is the way of acting in your role in life
Everyone has their own destiny
They live by the three jewels: compassion, moderation and humility.
Lao Tzu is still believed to be the founder

CONFUCIANISM

“Ren” is the central ethical principle, love, mercy, and humanity.
There are five cardinal relationships.
Family comes before the individual
The founder was Kong Qiu aka Confusious

SHINTOISM V. BUDDHISM

They believe in rebirth
They both are practiced in Japan
Shinto believe in kami. Buddhism have no god
Shintoism have certain rituals and Buddhsim don't
