Milkweed is toxic to other insects.
When the monarch eat the milkweed they become toxic to birds.
The larvae of the monarch butterflies eat milkweed.
Native Americans taught early English settlers how to cook it properly with out it being toxic.

It is 3ft - 11in and its vines are usually 3.9 - 9.8.
They have 3 leafs that are shaped like almonds.
They have bright green leafs when young.
Old leaves have dark leaves.
Poison ivy has flowers clustered around it.
