MAPS
Maps are navigational tools that we use to find where we are going, want to go or where we've been.

GLOBES
Globes are spherical projections of maps and are used to show where states and countries are.

Winkle triple projection
The winkle triple has a minority of distortions but the shapes and the distinct sizes are quite accurate.

Robinson Projections
The Robinson projection is excellent at most things but it can not be used for precise distances/measurements.

Mercator projection
The Mercator projection is not very accurate the farther from the equator but it is great with direction.

Goode's interrupted equal-area projection
This projection is called as you see in the title, literally, but the only problem with this projection is that it is complicated to read and distorts landforms

Thematic maps
These are maps that provides boundaries or area in a specific color based on the theme

GPS
Global Positioning System is a navigational tool that we use to figure out where to go and works by satellites working 24/7

GIS
Global information system is a tool that helps GPS besides the satellites in space it takes and puts the land into different layers
