  • Created in the 16th century, as a basis for urban planning
  • About 200 historical buildings
  • Basis consists of pink brick to reflect renaissance times

HISTORIC MONUMENTS ZONE OF TLACOTALPAN

  • Founded in the mid 16th century
  • Consists of plenty of organic colors
  • Many private gardens and public places have large trees in them
  • Very unique design for houses and shops

MONARCH BUTTERFLY BIOSPHERE RESERVE

  • 56,259 ha
  • In autumn billions of butterflies travel back to the reserve and huddle together
  • The trees apear to be orange because of the mass quantities on the trees
  • 4 generations die between their journey to eastern Canada and back
  • It is a mystery how they find there way back.

EL TAJIN, PRE-HISPANIC CITY

  • At its height from 9th to 13th century
  • Important to Mesoamerican people
  • The Pyramid of the Niches was created by ancient Mexicans was very significant
  • Reflection of the importance of pre-historic cultures

ARCHAEOLOGICAL ZONE OF PAQUIMÉ, CASAS GRANDES

  • 14/15th century
  • Important to trade and cultural contacts bewtween Pueblo and America
  • What is left shows the people there were perfectly adapted to their enviornment
  • People Suddenly vanished
