PRESENTATION OUTLINE
History:
The formation of Germany was the result of Germanic tribes forming together to fight against the Roman Empire. After WW1, Germany had a revolution. Then the Third Reich was formed. This led to the start of WW2.

Between the years 1939 and 1945, Nazi Germany was killing all of the Jewish people. In this time period, over 60 million people died. In terms of deaths, WW2 was the most deadliest war ever.

After the war ended, Germany was split up. There was the East side (which was democratic) and the West side (which was communist). this lasted for 40 years until it was torn down by the people on Novenmber 9, 1989.
Culture:
The main religion of Germany is Christianity. Germany has the same kind of jobs as in America. One of the biggest industries in Germany is the Auto industry. One of the main Automobile companies is located there (Volkswagen). Because it is Germany, I must include the tradition that is Octoberfest.
Government:
The government of Germany is a federal parliamentary republic. This means that the Chancellor is control of the government. The Chancellor and the president of the U.S. Basically have the same role.
Economy:
The currency is the Euro. This is the same currency in most of the European countries.
The affect of Economy and Government:
The government controls the people like the U.S.' Government controls us. They create laws that you must abide and in return, you pay taxes.
Current events:
Train drivers are going on strike a lot. This is caused because the train drivers do not like the amount of hours they work and the pay they get. You might not think this is a problem, but going places by train is a huge thing in Europe.
