• A social learning environment in which everyone learns through mutual engagement and non-authoritarian interactions for learning.(Inoue, 2012)

How to create a Community of practice?

• Educators need to motivate students to initiate and be engaged in learning
• Educators can demonstrate a community of practice by building a social learning environment with your colleagues
• A community of practice would have the next three components: domain, community, and practice.

Weakness

• Overcoming the existing socio-cultural norm, hierarchal and organizational structural of schooling.(Inoue, 2012)
• Not everything called a community is a community of practice. A neighborhood for instance, is often called a community, but is usually not a community of practice.(Winger-Trayner, 2015)
