iMovie

• None of us had used iMovie before to edit so it took us a long time to figure out how to use each feature.

• However after researching online and asking other members in our class we worked out how to use the basic features such as trimming a clip which we used in our preliminary task to create smooth transitions.

• We gradually learnt more and more skills as we went along, becoming more advanced with our editing. We also became quicker as we became more familiar with the software.
• For A2 we have a head start as we know how to use iMovie, so we will hopefully complete the process much more quickly.

Youtube

• We used YouTube to upload every draft of our film opening and Preliminary Task so that we could always have a draft to fall back on, as well as to track our progress as we gained feedback.

• One problem we faced was that we underestimated the time it took to upload to YouTube. This became particularly stressful especially as we were often very limited for time, therefore for A2 we will ensure we allow ourselves enough time to upload our videos.
