COMET

  • Comets are icy bodies that releases gas or dust.
  • They have carbon, ammonia, methane, ect.
  • orbit of comet makes it move close and also far from the Sun.
  • comet can create a lot of damage when they hit Earth.
  • Rock and ice bits cause lots of devastation

SUN

  • The sun is a star at the center of the solar system.
  • The sun is about 70% hydrogen and 28% helium.
  • The sun is about 4.5 billion years old.
  • The sun magnetic field is very strong and very complicated.
  • The suns power about 386 mega watts is produced by nuclear fusion reactions.

SPECTRASCOPE

  • A certain spectroscope is a scientific instrument that splits light
  • Joseph von Fraunhofer, a German optician, invented the spectroscope in 1814
  • They go out in space to identify the sunlight on asteroids
  • And they find out what elements are located on stars
