- The Hope Chest Thrift Stores Have seven locations in the Central Valley, The Hope Chest Thrift Stores offer gently used clothing, housewares, toys, furniture and more. Proceeds from sale of thrift store goods are used to support the patients and families of Community Hospice.

FACTS ABOUT HOSPICE
- Community Hospice served 1,373 terminally ill patients as well as their families in 2010.
WHAT IS HOSPICE
- Community Hospice is a nonprofit organization that has served residents in the Greater San Joaquin Valley since 1979. Community Hospice offers dignified and compassionate end-of-life medical, nursing and emotional care. Utilizing an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and others, Community Hospice is committed to providing compassionate care to patients and their families, regardless of ability to pay.

- Would love to do it again
- Lessons we learned through this experience were that it feels good to do something that benefits others and we learned that shopping there is not for profit and all the money they earn helps the sick and dying and we thought this was for a cause.
