Definition; movement in 18th century that needed to apply scientific methods to study society and it's problems.

Between 1400 and 1800's the world was changed the most by ideas. Leading to the start of the Colombian exchange , a lot of foods and animals where new to both known worlds. Giving each other new ideas and inventions for them to pursue throughout the years.
