What is a variable?

  • A variable is a number sentence that can be represented in letters to find
  • the same answer.
  • For my problem lets say k= 7 and y=10.
  •  so my number sentence is[ k*y] + 6.00 = 76 dollars.
  •  k*y is the same as 10*7=70 plus 6 dollars equals 76 dollars.
