What does on time look like?
You are in your seat ready to take notes or working on project
Need materials to begin? You are in your seat w/hand raised
Bottom line is you are in your seat working or ready to work

What does on task look like?
Working on assigned art project/assignment
Talking is kept to a minimum during independent work.
In seat unless retrieving supplies.
Only working on art class assignments.

Someone is presenting, what should I do?
Art journals/ sketchpads should be out for note-taking.
Pencil/pen should be readily available for use.
Respect and attention should be given to the presenter.
Respectful listening: sitting up quietly and attentively.

What does clean up look like?
Work area, tables, and floor are clean.
Materials used are clean and back where they belong.
Computers are on cart, plugged in, cords wrapped neatly.
Tables are wiped off and chairs pushed in.
Clean up occurs 5 minutes before the end of class.

Where should I put this?
Artwork in progress is stored in your cubby in the closet.
Artwork that is wet may be placed out on a shelf.
Graded artwork may also be stored in cubby until the art show.
Completed work should be turned in on top of filling cabinet.
Name on back, self-grade and rubric attached with paperclip.

What does Prepared look like?
Coming with a sharpened pencil, eraser, journal, and work.
Coming with any borrowed supplies, assignments that are due.
Coming with and open mind
Fed and well rested is a plus.

Homework
doesn't have to happen to you, use your time wisely.
Deadlines must be met.
Open studio time is available upon request.
Due dates and assignments are on Edmodo.

What if I don't want to?
First Strike: Warning
Second Strike: One day detail duty with Mr. Johnson or Myself
Third Strike: One week detail duty with Mr. Johnson and a call home.
Coming unprepared is a loss of that day's participation points.
Late work -5% each day.
