On October 31 They Believed That The Dead Came Back To Earth.
They Celebrated By Wearing Masks To Disguise The Living As The Dead
They Gave The Dead Wine And Food On Their Door Steps.
Druids built huge sacred bonfires where they gave sacrifices to the Celtic deities by burning crops and animals. During the celebration, the Celts wore costumes, typically consisting of animal heads and skins, and attempted to tell each other’s fortunes.
