• The purpose of the checks is to balance the branches of government.

THE BRANCHES

• Legislative Branch
• Executive Branch
• Judicial Branch

Federalist :
Federalist were a group of people who supported the ratification of the constitution and a strong national government.

Anti-federalist:
We're a group of people who opposed the ratification of the Constitution.

What I learned :
I learned what checks and balances are with the help of my mom.
Also I learned that if it wasn't for the separations of powers then the government would become a tyranny with too much power over the people and we the people would not have any rights to fight for.
I am glad that the separations of powers exist because I am able to have justice.

What I learned:
I learned that although there are three branches they are all equal in powers but yet independent from each other.
