-Syria had some type of civil war going on.
-Approximately 100,000 people had died in about 3 years.
-In August ruthless leader Bashar-Al-Assad was suspected of launching a chemical weapon attack.
Background info:
--Russia and U.S. Announced an agreement that would abolish of Syria's chemical weapons.
-It was subsequently tasked to destroy all chemical weapons and equipment in Syria by mid 2014.
-Many remain unknown about the orders to destroy them.
