In Hawaii, foods range from preposterous poi to roasted pork and tropical pineapple feasts. Yummy in my tummy!!

Traditional Hawaiian Celebrations
One of Hawaii's most famous and fun traditions are luaus. Luaus are when Hawaiians come celebrate together and have a party filled with everything from famous food and flowery leis to beautiful beaches and a combination of hula dancing and singing.

Hawaiian Language
In Hawaii, most natives speak Hawaiian (duh)! Did you know that there are only 12 letters in their alphabet. (A,E,I,O,U,H,K,L,M,N,P,W) A consonant is always followed by a vowel which means most Hawaiian words end with a vowel. Aloha is the Hawaiian word for hi, bye, love, or happy thoughts.
