Slide 2: In the website "http://psychcentral.com/blog/archives/2008/11/09/weather-can-change-your-mo..." They state that seasonal Affective Disorder is characterized by feelings of sadness and depression that occur in the winter months when the temperatures drop and the days grow short. This specific form of depression is often associated with excessive eating or sleeping and weight gain. Women are twice to three times more likely to suffer from the winter blues than men. In the poem, Snowbound a Winter Idyll it states,
"“The sun that brief December day
Rose cheerless over hills of gray,
And, darkly circled, gave at noon
A sadder light than waning moon.”

Slide 3: In huffingtonpost.com we found out that in the summer, violent crime especially murder rises when the weather heats up. It explains that in the summer more people are out on the street and the days are longer so there is more oppurtunity for crime. There are half or less than half the number of shootings hen there are in the summer time. Overall, summer can bring out the best in people but it has its downsides because people have too much time in there hands and causes them to be irresponsible.

Slide 4: In the winter, holidays such as Christmas and New Years can also bring out the good in people because they are closer to there family and friends so they feel happier and satisfied and alive. Summer also can have a positive affect in people's moods because school is it, more activities to do, and less stress about homework for school.
