Q is for questions
The press was asking a whole bunch of questions like what happened and how things started. They asked questions to Darry, ponyboy, and soda pop.

R is for rumble
The greasers and soc's had a fight between each other which is called a rumble. At the end the greasers ended up beating the soc's. Also dally showed up even though he had a broken arm

S is for soc's
The soc's have quite a bit of money and live on the other side of town. The soc's don't have to worry about getting in trouble because they have money to but things instead of steal and since their the "good kids" they don't get it much trouble from the cops

T is for two-bit
Two bit is part of the greaser gang. They call him two bit because he always has to get two bits of words in.

U is for uneven
The rumble was in even. The greasers had less people then the soc's but the greasers still ended up winning even though they were uneven.

V is for valence
Valence is the last name of Sherri but people call her cherry because of her red hair. Cheery is a soc that pony boy and Johnny meet at the drive In theater.

W is for windrixville
Windrixville is the place Johnny and pony boy go after Johnny kills that soc. The end up going to a church to stay at that dally told them to go to.

X is for x-cited
They greasers were very excited that they won the rumble against the soc's.

Y is for young
Johnny was very young when he died. Johnny was only sixteen. But pony boy was the youngest of them all. Pony boy was only 14

Z is for zany
Zany means always joking around. Soda pop is always joking around trying to make everything a lot more fun. Soda likes making people laugh all the time
