  • He was then restricted to a wheelchair
  • Could not take care of himself alone

MORRIE'S FUNERAL

  • Morrie had a "living funeral"
  • Only family and close friends
  • Everyone shared stories, laughed, cried
  • A woman read the "tender sequoia" poem
  • After Morrie died, a real funeral occured
