TYPES OF CLOUDS

  • High clouds
  • MIddle clouds
  • Low clouds

High clouds

The cirrocumulus clouds belong to the high cloud group about (5000-13000m) they are small rounded puffs that usually in long rows. The high clouds are usually white but they appear gray

High cloud from a satellite

The cirrostratus clouds are like a sheet of cirrus high and thin and continuous. They are for halos and other beautiful atmosphere phenomena

Middle clouds

The altostratus belong to the middle cloud group (2000-7000m up) they are a grayish-white with in one part of the cloud blanket and when you see this cloud except a warm humid morning and thunderstorms late afternoon

MIDDLE CLOUD FROM A SATELLITE

Low clouds

The stratocumulus clouds belong to the low cloud. (Surface-2000m) these clouds are low and lumpy and gray. These clouds can look like a cell under a microscope

LOW CLOUDS

Multi-level clouds

Altostratus belongs to the multi level clouds (2000-7000)
