My Budget Report - Summary
As a Sales Manager, I will be responsible for managing a sales team in the southern region of the U.S. My annual salary is based on what is normal for the industry, including where the job is located. I intend to live in a two bedroom apartment on the water with boat access. My occupation requires a heavy duty truck, so I will drive a Ford F-450 which requires more gas than normal. My standard expenses include apartment, food, clothing, gas, utilities, internet, and phone. Luxuries include entertainment and any expenses in the additional category. My budget shows $1,299.07 left over after expenses. I plan to put that money into savings toward the purchase of a home.

My Budget Report - What I have Learned
Creating a budget has taught me a lot. As an example, the cost of taxes, housing, and the amount of money spent on fuel cost was higher than I expected. Because my salary is higher than normal, it was not difficult to keep my expenses within budget. Creating a budget taught me the importance of securing a good job that can support my lifestyle. The most important thing I learned is that with good budgeting my occupation and salary can support what I want to do in the future.
