Following Instructions

  • Remember group work is earned.
  • If you cannot work together appropriately, we will complete the assignment individually.

For group work

  • You must use the appropriate level voice.
  • Lean in and listen to your partner.
  • Complete your task.

Team Work:
As a class we are working as a team. So, what if one group doesn't complete their task?

You will have homework. Either way, you need all of the definitions. If you are missing one definition because a group didn't complete the task, the whole class will have homework finding the definition for that word.

Steps:

  • You will receive TWO vocabulary words.
  • Use prior knowledge and the iPads to help you come up with a definition.
  • Agree on the wording of your definition.
  • Write your definition on the sentence strip.
  • Tape the sentence strip under the correct word on the wall.

Technology Instructions

  • One person will handle the technology.
  • iPad stays flat on the desk, and is only used when given instructions.
  • You only go on appropriate websites. The iPads are checked regularly, if there is anything weird on your iPad, your entire group will receive a consequence.
