1. Rehoboam, the king of Judah, and his successor Abijah, permitted the worship of false gods and practices against God's law.

2. Asa, the nest king, was different. He also worked to free Judah practices against the one true God.

3. The Assyrians forced the people of Judah to recognize Assyria's false gods.

4. King Hezekiah listened to the prophet, Isaiah. He stopped practices against thee one true God, removed foreign idols from the Temple, and closed local shrines where the false Gods and Goddesses were worshipped.

5. Hezekiah also tried to help the poor and those who were suffering because of the many injustices in Judah.

6. Micah was another prophet who preached in Judah. Micah had a deep understanding of people and their relationship with God.

7. False prophets tried to become popular by telling their listeners only what they wanted to hear.

8. Zephaniah, the prophet, urged people to change their ways and to return to the faith of Moses.

9. The king of Babylon destroyed Nineveh, the capital of Assyria. He also attacked and defeated Egypt.

10. When the king of Judah was disloyal to the king of Babylon, revenge was taken on Judah. Babylon invaded Judah in 598 B.C.
