Wes Ward

Arkansas Agriculture Secretary

West Higginbothom

Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board Chairman

Sunny Wilcox

Former FFA State Officer
We wrote Sunny's remarks. She spoke about the soybean industry's contribution to feeding families across the state. Sunny also drove home the importance of cooking with soy, which doesn't always mean tofu, etc.

Our Meal

Guest were served a three course meal, each course with a soybean element.

Edamame Hummus

Catfish With Soybeans

Crispy Potatoes and Hollandaise

Soy Panna Catta

Taking Soybeans Home

We sent every attendee home with a soybean gift bag. The bags included a soy quick tips sheet on how to include soy in your every day cooking. Each guest also received a KFTT branded hat and apron. We also used a couple Farm Bureau food brochures that educated attendees on our animal ag industry.

Results

Earned Media

We've received news stories from Talk Business & Politics, Arkansas Money and Politics, Rock City Eats, The Northwesterner, the Arkansas Ag Council website.

#ARSoySupper

We used this hashtag to track conversations happening leading up to, during and following the dinner. The results have been amazing. Including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, the impressions from the launch event total nearly a quarter million impressions. That number will continue to grow as we push this program out even further.

Thank You

Thanks to the board members who were able to attend. This event wouldn't have been a success without you being there and sharing your stories.
