• A lot of native americans hunted fish
• Farmers planted maize (Corn) beans & squash
• Hunters use bows & arrows to hunt deers, turkeys & rabbits

WHATS THE STATES NAME ?

• 1624- 30 Dutch families found New Nederland
• 15 years later The englands came & took control & names it New York and new hamsterdam became new NYC

GOING TO SCHOOL

• New york had more schools than any other colonie
• The kids only had 6 hours a day they teach the kids math,reading,writing
• When the kids got in trouble they would hit them with willow branches
• Girls will sit in the back of the class
