After the aorta, blood travels through the renal artery.
From here the blood travels into the kidney.
4.
RED BLOOD CELLS
While in the kidney blood is filtered.
Waste substances are filtered out of the blood.
5.
RED BLOOD CELLS
After the blood is filtered it travels to the renal vein.

WATER
Again like blood, water travels through the renal artery.

WATER
Water is sent to the bladder from the ureter.
Water is stored in the bladder.
11.
WATER
Water then exits the body through the urethra.
12.
POTASSIUM
Potassium travels from the heart into the aorta.
13.
POTASSIUM
Potassium travels with the blood through the renal artery.
14.
POTASSIUM
Some potassium is collected in the collecting duct.
It is then sent back to the heart.
Some other potassium is sent to the bladder.
15.
POTASSIUM
Some potassium is redistributed through the body.
Other potassium is stored in the bladder.
