The book I Am Malala By: Malala Yousafzai is about a girl who stood up for women's rights and education in Pakistan. Because she stood up to the Taliban, she was targeted and shot in the head on her way home from school.
In conclusion you should read this book because it is a story about a girl that was our age when she became famous activist. And unlike story's about adult activists you can relate to some of the problems she had. For instance she fought with her brothers over the TV remote, worried about how her hair looked in the morning, and wasn't a morning person.
