What is my project?

My project is to learn and create different projects on Adobe Illustrator

What is your driving question that you are investigating or learning?

I am curious to learn how to work with a program like Illustrator and how people use it to make such beautiful pieces.

Who will work with you on this project?

For this project I have decided to work alone so that I can focus more on what I'd like to learn.

Who is the audience / user base / client base for this project?

The biggest need for program knowledge of Illustrator is for the actual graphic design of advertising and branding.

Why is this project worthwhile?

It will help me expand my knowledge of the Adobe programs and will make it able to mix it together with other programs, i.e my own website with my own graphic.

What do you expect to learn from this project? Name a number of areas of learning.

I hope to learn how to use Illustrator to my advantage and make making graphics and other pieces that I can use for everyday use. I hope to integrate technology into my life more.

What PRODUCT will you have to show at the end of the year to visitors who come to learn from you?


I am hoping to have my own advertisement or poster to present, using different kinds of methods in the one pieces, combining my new found knowledge.

What sort of expenses will be involved in your project and how will you cover them?


There will be no expenses involved in my project.

What sort of equipment will you need and where will you get it?


All that's needed is a computer with Adobe Illustrator which can be found in the computer lab here.

What is your timeline for completing (or launching) your project?


I am hoping to start ASAP and complete multiple small pieces and one bigger piece that brings everything together by the end of the semester.

i am expecting to complete pieces that covers the following categories:

• Textures
• Typography
• Patterns
• Shapes
• Shadows

I am planning to present my project by sitting at a computer and answering questions and presenting every once in a while about different aspects of my project.
