What task does it perform?
-The crabster cr200 is designed to explore areas such as deep sea and space which humans cannot reach.
The robot is designed to do the human function of exploring except it is much safer as a robot.
Where is the robot used?
-The Crabster cr200 has been put into use in deep sea exploration as well as exploring space.
What is it's work envelope?
It has 12 joints. It can explore easily but must be remotely operated and can turn 360 degrees
Is the robotic end effector multi-functional?
The Crabster cr200 has two functions which is exploring and collecting data.
How does the robot perform its task?
-The robot is remotely operated by someone safely aboard a ship.
What sensors does the robot have and how does the robot use these sensors?
-It has multiple sensors including:grippers,6 axis forward leg arms,junction boxes,contact force sensor,4 axis leg with frp skin,pressure vessel,altitude sonar, Carbon fiber frame,glass fiber skin, tether cable, high res scanning sonar,usbl transponder, acoustic Doppler current profiler, had color zoom camera on pan/tilt device,acoustic camera on rotator, tool sled,
some advantages and disadvantages of using a robot to complete this task:
-Using this robot to explore is beneficial because it allows us to Go much farther because of pressure is restricting our bodies capabilities of going below with keeping our safety intact.
What is the impact that this robot has had or could have on its intended audience?
-It would allow us to learn much more about the sea
What type of jobs/careers can this robot create to provide employment for people?
-It could create deep sea explorers allowing them to learn more about the ocean

-They could Modify it to move logs on the sea floor and transport animals
